 17 January 2024 - As all the hard copies of the book "Wildflowers of the Waterberg" have been sold, we've added a link to a freely available PDF (not an ebook)                            of the full book to this website. In the colour quick reference section at the back of the book each image is linked to the species page in book.                            We're finding it very useful in the field to have it on our cellphones.

  30 October 2023 - Added the first photo record for this project of a Grey-backed Sparrow-lark - thanks to Matt Lailvaux.

  22 October 2023 - Added 167 common names of moths to the species list and to the species pages. Many thanks to Joseph Heymans for incorporating all this                               information from the new book 'Southern African MOTHS and their caterpillars' by Herman Staude, Mike Picker and Charles Griffiths.

  13 October 2023 - Added some new photo records of birds, a tree, a few wildflowers and another 40+ images of moths, 14 of which are new additions to the                               BioQuest moth list.                       The number of moths species photographed in the Waterberg is now up to 415.

29 April 2020 - Added some new images of birds from Vicente Alvarado, all from Lephalale, among them 6 species not previously photographed in the Waterberg.

25 April 2020 - Added a few new wildflower collages, this time arranged in families rather than colours:
