Passer domesticus House Sparrow Huismossie
Modimolle, Apr 2022
A breeding resident. Because of its close association with humans its occurrence across the Waterberg is patchy, being locally common in towns and around large farming operations but largely absent elsewhere (44% in, 56% out; recorded in 39% of the Waterberg pentads); occurs singly, in pairs, or in small groups. Breeds in summer.
