Lindani Private Game Reserve, Sep 2023
A breeding resident. Fairly common and widespread across the Waterberg and essentially absent from the surrounding thorn savanna (99% in, 1% out; recorded in 58% of the Waterberg pentads); frequents woodland, especially along drainage lines and at the base of hills and ridges; occurs singly or in pairs; an unobtrusive bird that keeps to the canopy of leafy trees, giving away its presence by its wispy song.
