Apalis flavida Yellow-breasted Apalis Geelborskleinjantjie
Jembisa, Nov 2019
Probably a breeding resident. Rare and localised in the Waterberg, mostly in the north-east with a few records from elsewhere (recorded in 5% of the Waterberg pentads); frequents well-wooded ravines and larger river valleys favouring the canopies of large trees; singly or in pairs, usually detected from hearing its staccato song, pairs often calling in duet; occurs side-by-side with Bar-throated Apalis in places.
