SwebeSwebe Jan 2014
A breeding summer visitor, present from Oct to Mar. Fairly common and widespread across the Waterberg, less so in the surrounding thorn savanna (79% in, 21% out; recorded in 24% of the Waterberg pentads), it favours non-rocky, lightly wooded or open country, including old lands. It is mostly detected sitting on roads after dark or from its prolonged churring call at dusk; calling is most prevalent in Oct-Nov and ceases after Dec. Breeds in early summer.
