Caprimulgus europaeus   European Nightjar  Europese Naguiltjie
European Nightjar
SwebeSwebe, Jan 2014

A non-breeding summer visitor from the Palearctic, present from Nov to Mar. The few records suggest that it is rare (recorded in 2% of the Waterberg pentads), but it is probably also under-recorded as it is silent while here, and is usually only detected sitting on roads at night.
