Circus ranivorus African Marsh Harrier Afrikaanse Vleivalk (Paddavreter)
A vagrant. Only one record of this species is known from the Waterberg in the past 20 years, a single bird near Alma in Jul 2015. In the 1960s it was a regularly recorded breeding resident both here and on the Nyl floodplain but it has seemingly disappeared from the region for reasons unknown.
